Handbook Wins Inaugural Taylor and Francis Prize

The Routledge International Handbook of Schools and Schooling in Asia, edited by FEHD Profs Kerry Kennedy and John Chi Kin Lee, has been awarded the inaugural Taylor & Francis Prize for the Outstanding Handbook in Behavioural Sciences and Education for 2018.

Their Handbook,  that involved many EdUHK colleagues as well as contributors from across the region, provides an authoritative and international overview of all aspects of schools and schooling in Asia.

It brings together experts in curriculum, learning and assessment, private supplementary tutoring, special education, gender issues, ethnic minority education and LGBTQI students in Asian schools. It provides a multidimensional and rich view of the issues confronting the region’s school and education systems.

This is another example of EdUHK leading education in Asia.
