The Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) achieved outstanding results in the 2026/27 funding and fellowship exercises of the Research Grants Council (RGC) under the University Grants Committee.
FEHD secured a total of 20 competitive research grants, comprising 18 projects under the General Research Fund (GRF) and 2 projects under the Early Career Scheme (ECS). These awards highlight the Faculty’s strong research capacity and its sustained commitment to advancing innovative research that delivers meaningful societal impact.
Commenting on the results, Prof Kevin Chan, Acting Dean and Associate Dean for Research and Postgraduate Studies said, “We are proud of our colleagues’ achievements in this year’s RGC exercise. These results reflect the strength of our research culture and our shared commitment to advancing knowledge that contributes meaningfully to education and society.”
