The study seeks to ascertain transgender and gender-diverse counseling professionals' navigation of the therapeutic space through moral decision-making, reshaping the therapeutic space and its meanings.

Exploring sociopolitical narratives and the framing of transgender rights discourse
Adopting Habermas’ theory of communicative action, the project aims to enhance transgender rights discourse by observing the meanings and values underpinning transgender rights discourse amongst laypeople, documenting professionals and advocates’ strategies for engaging in discourse on transgender rights and related topics, and developing novel frames for facilitating transgender rights discourse.
