“A Poetry Talk by Collier Nogues”

 

Collier Nogues is the author of On the Other Side, Blue (Four Way). She has received fellowships and grants from the MacDowell Colony, the Ucross Foundation, Vermont Studio Center, and Oregon’s Fishtrap, Inc. Her current project, The Ground I Stand On Is Not My Ground, erases historical documents related to the Pacific War. Poems from the project can be found online at At Length, Matter, and Mead, and are forthcoming in Drunken Boat, Tongue, and Pangyrus. Other recent poems have appeared in The Literary Review, The Cincinnati Review, and as the American Academy of Poets’ Poem-A-Day feature. She teaches creative writing in the Masters of English Programme at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and co-curates Hong Kong’s poetry craft talk series, Ragged Claws.
