亞洲週刊於每年年初公佈上一年度的年度華文小說，得獎文學作品會從不同方面刻畫中國，甚至整個華文地區中國人的生存面貌和他們的歷史傳統。2015年度華文小說的結果已於2016年1月揭曉，得獎作者來自中港臺及新加坡，香港教育大學人文學院文學及文化學系王良和博士的《蟑螂變》為得獎作品之一。
