EdUHK Faculty of Humanities Expands Outreach and Strengthens Connections at the China Education Expo 2025

Led by the Global Affairs Office of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), FHM participated in the China Education Expo in five cities, namely Beijing, Wuhan, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Shanghai, from 31 October to 9 November 2025. The team actively promoted the Faculty's academic programmes and engaged with Chinese Mainland high school students, undergraduates, postgraduates and their parents. Many visitors were drawn to the Faculty's exhibition booth, expressing particular interest in the Faculty's programmes. Faculty representatives offered comprehensive guidance regarding curriculum specifics and admissions processes, while also sharing insights into campus life at EdUHK.
Dr Yan Jing, Associate Professor from the Department of Chinese Language Studies, and Dr Huang Jing Peter, Assistant Professor from the Department of English Language Education, as well as Ms Kinki Mak, Marketing Officer of the Faculty of Humanities, also delivered admission talks on the University's undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes in the Beijing and Shanghai legs, presenting comprehensive information about the programmes, covering programme features, curriculum structures, and career prospects. Following the presentation, the team engaged in in-depth discussions with attendees, addressing questions about academic planning and learning experiences.
Participants responded with remarkable enthusiasm to the sessions, highlighting their appreciation for the admission talks' thorough and applicable content, especially concerning study trajectories and course options. They expressed admiration for the events' professional coordination and high-quality interactions, while showing significant enthusiasm about potential future prospects.
