The Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD) is delighted to announce that 33 of its scholars have been recognised among the World’s Top 2% Scientists in the list compiled by Stanford University in 2026. This year’s recognition includes 9 scholars newly named to the list, while 18 scholars have ranked within the top 1% globally, an increase of 6 from last year. This continued rise in representation reflects FEHD’s growing research influence and the international recognition of its scholars’ academic contributions across all departments of the Faculty.
Professor Chan Ka Shing Kevin, Acting Dean of FEHD, remarked: “The growing number of FEHD scholars recognised in this global ranking reflects the Faculty’s sustained commitment to research excellence and international impact. Looking ahead, we will continue to foster an environment that supports innovative, interdisciplinary research and advances our contribution to the global academic community.”
The recognised scholars represent departments across the Faculty and contribute to a wide range of sub-disciplines, including education, clinical psychology, experimental psychology, languages and linguistics, rehabilitation, social psychology, and sport sciences.
