EPL faculty and students, including Prof Yuzou Cai, Dr Ewan Wright, Dr Hayes Tang, Dr Yusuf Oldac, Dr Ying Ji and Ms Jia Li, presented research at the 12th Higher Education Research Association (HERA) Conference, held on 13–14 June 2026 in Beijing, China. The conference was jointly hosted by the Graduate School of Education at Peking University and the School of Education at Tsinghua University, in collaboration with the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Higher Education Chair. Bringing together leading and emerging scholars from around the world, the two-day conference provided a valuable platform for discussion on how Asian higher education can develop distinctive pathways and contribute new ideas to global dialogue. EPL’s participation highlights the department’s growing contribution to scholarship in higher education research.
