【Conference】The International Conference on One Belt One Road Arts and Culture 2025 (ICOAC25)

The ICOAC25 Organizing Committee are delighted to invite you to contribute to The International Conference on One Belt One Road Arts and Culture 2025 (ICOAC25) which is organized by the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts of The Education University of Hong Kong supported by the Belt and Road Office of the Commerce Economic Development Bureau and the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. The conference will take place from September 13th to 14th, 2025, at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. This landmark event will explore the dynamic interplay of arts, heritage, and culture along the historic and modern Silk Road, fostering global dialogue and collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

 

Conference Themes:
ICOAC25 seeks interdisciplinary contributions addressing, but not limited to:

  • Cultural Heritage, Identity, and Transnational Exchange
  • Arts, Education, and Interdisciplinary Dialogue
  • Technology and Future Cultural Practice
  • Arts, Policies and Cultural Diplomacy

  • Performance/Practice-based Research Presentations

 

Submission Format:

 

Selected contributions will undergo peer review, and outstanding papers may be published in a dedicated proceedings volume. Presenters will also gain visibility among global stakeholders, including academics, researchers, artists, educators, professionals, policymakers, cultural leaders, and international media.
