Seminar and Focus Group on The Future of Caregiving: Leveraging Innovative Technologies and Addressing SEN Challenges
Over 10,000 parents in Hong Kong care for children with special needs, undertaking responsibilities beyond daily care, including securing quality learning environments and social opportunities. The adoption of innovative technologies can significantly enhance caregivers’ efficiency in addressing challenges such as emotional fluctuations, educational resource demands and multi-party coordination.
The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) will host a seminar and focus group titled “Leveraging Innovative Technologies and Addressing SEN Challenges” on July 16, 2025. This event will focus on cutting-edge advancements in assistive technologies for special education caregivers, facilitating knowledge exchange among educators, research experts and caregivers.
