MPPM Policy Case Competition 2025: Future Leaders Tackle Real-World Challenges

Our Annual MPPM Policy Case Competition was successfully held on 8th November 2025. It brought together MPPM students to discuss and address issues surrounding policy areas in transportation, healthcare, and education. The students were given the unique opportunity to showcase their skills, creativity, and passion.

任鴻客席助理教授：在教大實踐創業教育與學生成長之旅

社會科學與政策研究學系客席助理教授任鴻先生是一位經驗豐富的企業家兼學術型實踐者。他在加拿大就讀本科最後一年的時候創立第一間公司，並於回流香港前成功退出業務。回港後，任助理教授創立專注於家族事業傳承規劃及家族辦公室人才培育的顧問公司，並於香港中文大學家族企業研究中心擔任執行主任。除創立事業及研究外，任教授亦於本學系及多間大專院校任教，並經常利用課餘時間為學生舉辦各類活動，協助他們建立廣泛人際網絡。以下由任教授分享於本學系教學的點滴與感受。

香港教育大學（教大）個人理財教育文學碩士課程（Master of Arts in Personal Finance Education, MA(PFE)）榮膺「2025年度中國商學院大灣區卓越標杆碩士項目獎」，彰顯課程在粵港澳大灣區人才培養及區域協同發展方面的卓越貢獻，並獲業界高度肯定。

From Private Troubles to Public Issues: A Sociologist's Journey Through Chinese Medicine in Hong Kong

On 14th November, 2025 Professor Stephen Chiu delivered a public lecture at the Admiralty campus of HKUSPACE. Entitled “From Private Troubles to Public Issues: A Sociologist's Journey Through Chinese Medicine in Hong Kong”, the lecture attracted about 60 social science students, in which he recounted his own research journey on the development of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong.

A visit to the exhibition "Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons: A Golden Era of Multicultural Integration and Openness"

2025年11月27日

To enrich students' exposure to Chinese material culture and art appreciation, Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sociology and Community Studies and Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Primary Humanities) Programme organized a visit to the exhibition "Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons: A Golden Era of Multicultural Integration and Openness" at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Center on 24 November 2025.
