We are excited to invite applications for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) 2026/27 at The Education University of Hong Kong. The scheme was established by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) in 2009. HKPFS aims to attract outstanding international PhD candidates to pursue their research in Hong Kong. It offers up to three years of funding, including a monthly stipend of HK$28,100 (approximately US$3,600) and an annual conference and research-related allowance of HK$14,000 (approximately US$1,790). The application process involves submitting an initial application to RGC via the HKPFS system by 1 December 2025, at 12:00 noon (GMT+8), followed by completing the full application through the EdUHK Admission System before 1 December 2025, 11:59 pm (GMT+8), and referencing the HKPFS application number. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, and results will be announced in April or May 2026.
