ANTI-SCAM LESSON DESIGN COMPETITION 2026

Dear Students,

 

You are invited to join the “ANTI-SCAM LESSON DESIGN COMPETITION 2026”, organised by the Student Affairs Office (SAO). This Competition aims to encourage participants to create innovative lesson plans that promote anti-scam awareness and equip peers and school students with practical prevention knowledge.

Call for Applications

Applicants have to form a group of THREE, submit a 40-minute    lesson design in English/Chinese, a PowerPoint presentation (not more than 50 slides) to be used for teaching and supplementary materials (if any), e.g. worksheets, videos, Scratch simulation/games, etc.

12 Nov 2026 (Thu)

Presentation and Selection (Shortlisted Groups Only)

ALL members of shortlisted groups MUST attend the presentation in ENGLISH or CHINESE (subject to the language of the lesson plan) within 15 minutes.

19 Nov 2026 (Thu)

Result Announcement

Awardees will be notified via email.

 

Prizes

  • Four winning teams will be selected, with each team receiving a HK$1,000 cash coupon (HK$1,000 per team).
  • In collaboration with the Hong Kong Police Force, the winning teams will have the opportunity to implement their lesson plans in a primary or secondary school in the Tai Po District in December 2026 or January 2027. Participating schools* include:
    • Carmel Pak U Secondary School (迦密柏雨中學)
    • Tai Po Old Market Public School (Plover Cove) (大埔舊墟公立學校(寶湖道))
    • Tai Po Old Market Public School (大埔舊墟公立學校)
    • The Education University of Hong Kong Jockey Club Primary School (香港教育大學賽馬會小學)

*subject to final arrangements.

  • Shortlisted teams will receive an e-certificate of participation.
