The Department of Psychology at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is proud to announce that Professor Chan Che Hin Chetwyn, Professor Chan Ka Shing Kevin, Professor Remco Christiaan Johan Polman, and Dr Yeung Kin Chung Michael have been named among the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2026, a prestigious global ranking compiled by Stanford University. Their recognition contributes to EdUHK’s record achievement this year, with 73 scholars included on the list, the highest number in the University’s history.
The inclusion highlights the Department’s strong research performance and international impact across diverse areas of psychological science. The Stanford ranking, based on Scopus citation data and a range of standardized indicators, is widely regarded as a leading measure of research influence and scholarly excellence.
The Department extends its warmest congratulations to the four awardees and all EdUHK scholars recognized in this year’s ranking for their dedication to research excellence and academic leadership.
