Mr Sin used a special photo collection on SARS to brief participants on the content, organisation, shooting and editing of thematic and documentary photography. Students were inspired and encouraged to capture the impact of SARS through their cameras.

Miss Lam had been involved as a volunteer in the production of two video documentaries on the late Dr Tse, a SARS heroine of Hong Kong. Miss Lam talked about the entire process of documentary production from information collection to interviewing, editing, dubbing and recording the background music.
