Funding Organisation
Overview
The project, based on attachment-based approach with family-centred and strength-based foundation, incorporates four key elements T.I.P.S. – T for Touch, I for Interaction, P for Play, and S for Support that form its uniqueness to serve families of children aged from zero in Tin Shui Wai. The parents learn how to touch, interact, play and form security to their children throughout this project. It meets the needs of two different developmental stages (children aged 0-2 and 3-6) comprising four sets of specific programs: 1) Touch-based program for aged 0 to 2 for building emotional security. 2) Play-based program for aged 3 to 6 especially for children with SEN. 3) Parenting program for those parents from disadvantaged families, with SEN children or parents with mental distress. 4) Community-based program for families with SEN children and general families with children aged 0 to 6.
