Learning Development Grants 2015/16 – Call for applications (Batch II)

LEARNING DEVELOPMENT GRANTS 2015/16 (Batch II)
 
With an aim to realise the Faculty’s strategic development pursuits in actively engaging students in community and research activities, applications are now invited for Learning Development Grants 2015/16 of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (FLASS). The Grants will finance activities which adopt a research and/or activity learning approach, initiated, led and organised by FLASS undergraduate students or student bodies. All FLASS full-time students studying either UGC funded or self-financed undergraduate programmes are eligible for application. The activities must be supervised by at least one FLASS academic/teaching staff member and participated by at least three HKIEd students and preferably will engage a wider community with strong relevance of learning development and research capacity of FLASS students. The Grants offer financial support for FLASS undergraduate students to develop self-initiated activities. Examples of such activities include the TEDx Programme, the Alibaba Hong Kong Young Entrepreneurs Foundation, the BSA Startup Challenge 168 and others. For the Alibaba Hong Kong Young Entrepreneurs Foundation and the BSA Startup Challenge 168, the details are yet to be announced.
