Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change has won a donation to explore the impact of AI on teaching and learning in teacher education.
The donation, from the Hong Kong Asian Ark Technologies Co. Ltd., will help researchers investigate how emerging technologies affect the way students learn, and how educational institutions can develop new pedagogies for future technologies.
Spearheaded by EPL Associate Professor Dr. James Ko, said the research will help to predict the future nature of higher teacher education. “AI is part of the fabric of our universities,” said Dr. Ko. “We will pinpoint the challenges for educational institutions and student learning in adopting these technologies, and explore further directions for research.”
