Bad Weather Arrangement
When Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / “Extreme Condition”^ is in force, the West Kowloon Study Centre (Austin Road) (WKSC) will be closed.
The West Kowloon Study Centre (Austin Road) will reopen under the following conditions:

Monday – Friday: |
If Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / “Extreme Condition” is cancelled at or before 6:00pm, the WKSC will re-open within 2 hours. If Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / “Extreme Condition” is in force at or after 6:00pm, the WKSC will remain close on that day. |

Saturday: |
If Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / “Extreme Condition” is cancelled at or before 2:00pm, the WKSC will re-open within 2 hours. If Tropical Cyclone No. 8 or above / Black rainstorm warning / “Extreme Condition” is in force at or after 2:00pm, the WKSC will remain close on that day. |
^ Under certain “extreme conditions” caused by super typhoons, such as serious disruption of public transport services, extensive flooding, major landslides or large-scale power outage after super typhoons, the Government will review the situation (including public transportation and other aspects) and make an announcement to the public.
