Dear Colleagues & Students,

Since the implementation of the special lunchtime shuttle services to Tai Po Central and Tai Wo respectively in late August, we have been receiving positive feedback from staff and students.  With the support from the Management of the University, the special lunchtime shuttle services will be continued. 

Considering that the existing Tai Po Central route overlaps with the KMB 74K lunchtime services covering Tai Po Central (12:35 outbound and 13:30 inbound not via Sam Mun Tsai) whilst the Tai Wo Route passengers could also easily walk to the Tai Po Central from the midway stop and vice versa, it is decided that from 17 November 2025, Monday, the special lunchtime shuttle services will be adjusted as follows:

1. The Tai Wo Route will continue to be provided from Monday to Friday;
2. The Tai Po Central Route will only be provided on Friday to cater for the higher demand; and
3. A fare of $5.0 by Octopus Card will be levied to sustain the service in the long term.

親愛的教職員和學生：

自八月下旬開辦大埔中心和太和線的午間特別穿梭巴士服務以來，我們一直收到教職員和學生的積極回饋。在大學管理層的支持下，此項服務將會繼續。考慮現時大埔中心服務與九巴74K途經大埔中心的午間特別班次，即12:35離校及13:30回校（不經三門仔）班次，存在重疊，同時前往大埔中心之乘客亦可乘太和路線於中途站落車後快捷到達，因此從2025年11月17日（星期一）起，午間特別穿梭巴士服務將會調整如下：

1. 太和路線將維持星期一至星期五營運；
2. 大埔中心路線僅在星期五營運，以應對較高的需求；
3. 基於長遠營運考慮，午間特別穿梭服務將收取每程5.0港元的車費，以八達通卡支付。
