Provision of Teaching Venues at Block B
Description
This project transformed the under-utilized covered areas on the ground floor at B2/B3 and B3/B4 of Block B into modern classrooms, with works carried out from January to July 2025. Two new teaching venues were constructed, each equipped with advanced audio-visual systems, enhanced IT infrastructure, and improved Wi-Fi coverage to support collaborative and hybrid learning.
The classrooms offer flexible layouts to accommodate larger classes, ergonomic furniture, additional power and USB charging points, and upgraded acoustics for both in-person and online teaching. Accessible design features have also been incorporated to ensure an inclusive learning environment. These advanced facilities now provide a versatile and contemporary space for students and faculty.
