The 3 numbers of Lecture Theatres at Block D1 on LP floor, each accommodating between 200 and 300 people, have been upgraded in phases from 2023 to 2024 to comprehensively improve their condition, provision of latest technologies/facilities and functionality which, most importantly, will enhance the user experience so as to contribute to a more collaborative teaching and learning environment that aligns with the new educational and interactive teaching and learning trends.

Featured enhancements are seen via the following:

• use of new building fabrics and finishes creating a new and elevated image fit for diverse events and functions including the most solemn seminars/ceremonies;
• installation of the latest advanced audio-visual equipment to pair with the renovated stage and backdrop with stage lighting for upgraded stage performance;
• improved sound quality and speech intelligibility resulting in better acoustic performance to facilitate both face-to-face and online teaching; and
• reconfigured seating layout as well as provision of USB chargers and electrical sockets for charging laptops and other electronic devices handily

All the above are aimed to facilitating e-learning and provide students with a modernized and conducive learning environment which is on par with the leading universities’ standards.
