研究助理教授

Since 2017, I have been involved in research on teachers’ personal-professional lives, the way they navigate their career, and the factors that influence their professional development. I see understanding teachers as a door into better understanding myself and how I could play a small part in contributing to their professional growth. This interest in studying teachers has also been reflected in my research in that all of my publications have been on teachers, especially their identities and emotion. My most recent work features introducing a new methodology for researching especially teachers’ personal sense-making, which is called Ecoexperiential Sequentialism, which taps into how teachers make sense of chained experiences, over time and in relation to different contextual ecologies.
