eTeachers Online 8^th Annual Roundtable

At the 8^th Annual Roundtable on 6 June 2026 organized by the Department of English Language Education (ELE) at the Education University of Hong Kong, Ms Cheung Wai Shan and Mr Eric Chan from Lok Tao Secondary School presented their project on AI-mediated blended learning to support students’ critical AI literacy and their oral presentation skills. Part of the project is the development of a chatbot (‘The Devil’s Advocate’) that will ask students critical and unpopular questions to help them reflect on their learning. ELE would like to congratulate Ms Cheung and Mr Chan on this creative and successful example of AI implementation in the curriculum to support students’ critical literacy skills.
