Center for Science and Faith at Copenhagen University visits EduHK
Colleagues from the interfaculty Research Center for Science and Faith at the University of Copenhagen visited The Education University of Hong Kong 26-27 March. The purpose of the visit was to share common research interests and to explore possibilities for future collaboration. The colleagues from Copenhagen also brought a film crew to work on a documentary on spirituality and science in the East and the West.
The visit to EduHK was hosted by Prof Hans Ladegaard (ELE) who talked about Faith as healing in migrant domestic workers’ storytelling, which is part of a GRF-project, and Dr Chan Man Ho (SES) who talked about his research on science, panentheism and philosophy. Dr Ip Pui Him from the Center for Science and Faith also gave a talk on Science and Contemplative Life.
