Advancing English Education: ELE's 12th Public Lecture Series
🎓✨ ELE proudly hosted the 12th Public Lecture Series online from April to May 2025! Since 2012, ELE has connected with 6,876 participants—teachers, students, and the public—who share a passion for advancing English language education. This year, 171 participants joined us to explore innovative ideas and strategies. 🌍📚
Under the expert coordination of Dr. Maggie Qiao, the series featured eight inspiring talks by ELE scholars, including Dr. Ju Seong Lee, Dr. Mik Fanguy, Dr. Huseyin Uysal, Dr. Ellen Yue Zhang, Dr. Pauline Mak, Dr. Peter Huang, Dr. Ali Soyoof, and Dr. Yiqi Liu. Topics ranged from digital game-based learning and critical digital literacies to metacognitive strategies in writing and language learning challenges for students, teachers, and parents. 🧠✨
