Fostering Graduate Students and Institutional Exchange:

6th Brown Bag Series and 2026 EdUHK-SNUE Education Forum

The 6th Brown Bag Series and the 2026 EdUHK-SNUE Education Forum were co-hosted with Seoul National University of Education (SNUE) on May 18, 2026. Following the opening remarks by Prof. Kyungja Ahn, Dean of Academic Affairs, President Shinho Jang of SNUE offered a warm welcome. Dr. Ju Seong Lee, Associate Head (Internationalization), expressed appreciation for the invitation and thoughtful arrangements, and shared our hope for continued exchange and collaboration between the two teacher education institutions. The forum also featured presentations by two ELE doctoral students and three SNUE doctoral students, who shared their work with one another.

Moderated by Prof. Suh-Kyeong Kwon, the open discussion on ELT and teacher development explored current issues and teaching practicum in school-university collaboration. The event provided a valuable and accessible opportunity for ELE doctoral students to present their work, while also allowing participants from both institutions to learn from one another. It was a meaningful exchange between EdUHK and SNUE, helping to strengthen ties, support the growth of young researchers, and further enhance the visibility of ELE, FHM, and EdUHK within Korea’s teacher education community.
