Presentation Title:
"English and L2 English Errors Across Times: Care, Innovation, and Sustainability"
Abstract:
This plenary focuses on English as it is learned and used in second/additional language communities. It explores how concepts like errors and innovations can be understood through the lenses of “care,” “innovation,” and “sustainability.” I will discuss my research evolution over two decades, viewing errors as potential innovations while advocating for a human-centered approach in English Language Teaching (ELT) .
