ELE Retreat 2025
The ELE Retreat 2025 was all about connection, growth, and inspiration! 
Held on May 16 at the scenic WM Hotel in Sai Kung, the event kicked off with Dr. Ju Seong Lee’s warm welcome, followed by Dr. Ruth Wong’s lively icebreakers that brought everyone closer together. 
Our top-performing educators—Dr. Tim Taylor, Dr. Pauline Mak, Dr. Ruth, Mr. Denis Wong, Miss Tayyaba Bibi, and Ms. Clairine Chan—shared their insights on teaching excellence. Afterward, a delightful buffet lunch encouraged candid conversations and new friendships. 
Dr. Pramod Sah gave golden advice on research, while Prof. Minjuan Wang and Prof. Angel Lin shared the deeper purpose of research and publishing. Dr. Mik Fanguy’s AI tools demo was a game-changer! 
The day ended with Dr. Curtis Green-Eneix leading a meaningful roundtable on building a stronger research culture.
This retreat wasn’t just an event—it was a step toward fostering belonging, strengthening teaching and research capacity, and building a united ELE family.
