The Department of Early Childhood Education at The Education University of Hong Kong will organize the International Summer School and Research Conference for Doctoral Students (InSuDoc2023) from 24 to 26 July in Hong Kong. InSuDoc2023 is for Doctoral Students in the field of Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) and other related fields (e.g., Developmental Psychology, Child Development, Special Needs Education).
InSuDoc2023 will bring together international, regional, and local doctoral students to equip them with essential tools to successfully complete their doctoral degrees and publish their work in academic journals. In the Summer School section, renowned international scholars will offer specialized workshops in their areas of specialization. In the Research Conference section, participants will present their work and receive feedback from both experts and fellow graduate students.
Specialized workshops on survey design, mixed methods research, qualitative research, interventional research, and publishing will be offered by five distinguished scholars: Dr. Kate Williams (Queensland University of Technology, Australia), Dr. Oswaldo Lorenzo (University of Granada, Spain), Dr. Diana Leyva (University of Pittsburgh, USA), Dr. Yuwei Xu (University of Nottingham, UK), and Dr. Mehmet Toran (Istanbul Kültür University, Turkey). Cultural and social activities will also be organized.
