The Department of ECE is committed to exchanging up-to-date knowledge with the local, regional, and international ECE community. To keep the field posted on our research and teaching activities and further strengthen our connections with the public, three issues per year of the ECE Newsletter will be published during 2021 and 2022. These will be distributed among practitioners and academics by mailing them hard copies, and also disseminating electronic copies in our media platforms. A new feature is that the ECE Newsletter will be available in English and Chinese.
The ECE Newsletter illustrates how academic research conducted by local and international ECE scholars may inform practices, including teaching and learning in kindergartens, parenting, school management, and home-school collaborations. Our goal is to translate research into a language that makes sense to the public, so that practitioners can take advantage of the most recent findings to inform and guide their work. We believe we have the social responsibility to move forward with the field: knowledge exchanges between us and the community will benefit children the most in the long run!
