Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education, Professor Kerry Lee, and Chair Professor of Child Development and Special Education, Prof. Kevin Chung Kien Hoa, have been named two of the 29 EdUHK scholars in Stanford University’s list of the world’s most cited scientists in 2020.
This list featured the top scientists globally and ranked them by the number of times their research has been cited against other authors in the subfields in which they work. Prof. Lee and Prof. Chung were ranked top 2% among 70,063 authors under the subfield of Education, which is under Social Science, when self-citations are excluded.
Prof. Lee currently also serves as the Director of the Centre of Educational and Developmental Sciences. Prof. Chung was the former Head of Department for ECE and currently also serves as the Director of the Centre for Child and Family Science.
