The Departmental Learning and Teaching Committee (DLTC) of the Department of Early Childhood Education (ECE) organized the “Little hearts, Great minds” creative e-book design competition and the “Suspending Classes without Suspending Learning” e-teaching video design competition for our ECE students in July and three winners of the respective competitions were announced in September. The aims were to encourage our students to design an original e-book as well as to stimulate them to design diversified learning activities and make creative video for children.
They were invited to attend a ceremony cum a sharing session on 28 November 2020 where they shared their storytelling and teaching videos to the parents and ECE practitioners. They make good use of software to create e-book and e-teaching videos. The attractive topics of e-books covered different daily life scenarios including animals, transportation, and supply of water while the practical e-teaching videos involved language learning and science experiments.
