Over the past decades, significant progress has been made in achieving high-quality early childhood education (ECE) regionally and globally. However, the landscapes of ECE have been changing and transforming greatly due to various factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the increasing use of technology in education, and the pursuit of inclusive and equitable education. These challenges also present opportunities for the development of ECE, and schools have successfully adapted with innovative strategies.
To enhance the sharing of the innovative approaches and effective strategies to tackle the new challenges and to pursue better quality in ECE, the Department of Early Childhood Education of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) will host the 9th Conference for Research in Early Childhood Education on June 10, 2023 (Saturday), 9:30 am – 4:30 pm, at The Education University of Hong Kong. The theme of the conference is Embracing Opportunities and Innovations in Early Childhood Education. The conference will provide an interactive platform for educators, academics, practitioners, and professionals in early childhood settings to share their experiences of teaching and learning. It includes Keynote speeches, Seminars, Workshops, and Poster sessions.
