CRECE2021: Early Childhood Education: Health and Well-being in the New Normal

2021-12-20

Since last year, COVID-19 has been affecting different industries around the world. The pandemic forces schools to close and teach online. Children learn and play from outdoor to indoor. These changes bring unprecedented challenges to teachers, parents and children. Under these new norms, how could we take care of children so that they can grow up in a healthy environment and have a greater sense of well-being?

To exchange knowledge with schools and teachers on this issue, the Department of Early Childhood Education of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) will host the 7th Conference for Research in Early Childhood Education on 20 December 2021 (Monday), 9:30 am – 5:00 pm, at The Education University of Hong Kong and Zoom. The theme of the conference is Early Childhood Education: Health and Well-being in the New Normal. The conference will provide an interactive platform for educators, academics, practitioners, and professionals in early childhood settings to share their experiences of teaching and learning.

We welcome schools to participate in the conference:

– For those who wish to register as audience, please complete the online registration form.

– The conference also invites schools to present their work at the Seminars, Workshops, or Online Poster sessions, to showcase their strategies that help children explore freely in their environments, and to introduce initiatives that foster children’s health and well-being.
