According to Education Bureau (EDB)’s Circular No. 1/2007, all new principals from the 2009/10 school year are required to have completed the Certification Course for Kindergarten Principals (CCKP) before, or exceptionally within the first year of their appointment with prior approval from the EDB.
This course is specially designed for promising early childhood education practitioners. It aims to help participants rapidly enhance their leadership and decision-making skills, comprehensively master core knowledge and strategies in modern kindergarten management and build a solid foundation for aspiring principals.
Course Highlights
Designed in accordance with the Education Bureau's latest Kindergarten Principal Certificate Course framework requirements (2025/26 - 2027/28), covering four compulsory subjects and three forward-looking elective subjects.
Co-developed by a senior advisory team and kindergarten industry leaders, with content closely aligned to industry trends, ensuring it addresses emerging educational trends, policy developments, and management challenges.
Blends theory and practice to enable participants to complete professional development in a short time and apply it immediately to school management.
