北京大學到訪教大

Three representatives from Peking University paid a visit to The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) in April 2023, to discuss a memorandum of understanding to systematically extend and formalise collaboration between the two universities based on the outcomes of the current partnership.

 

The visit included a meeting, a tour of the Tai Po campus, and a welcome lunch. During the meeting, a brief introduction to the Faculty of Humanities and the ‘Chinese History Education Scheme’ was given.


The visitors were Professor Wang Qisheng and Professor Niu Dayong (Head and Former Head, respectively, of Peking University’s Depart of History) and Mr Chen Jie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee. EdUHK was represented by President (Designate) and Vice President (Academic) and Provost Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, Professor John Erni, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Professor Zhu Qingzhi, Chair Professor of the Department of Chinese Language Studies and Director of Centre for Research on Chinese Language and Education, Professor Pamela Leung, Associate Dean of Quality Assurance and Enhancement, Dr Wang Lixun, Associate Dean of International Engagement, Professor Eric Yu, Acting Head of the Department of Literature and Cultural Studies, and Dr Lei Chin-hau, Assistant Professor of the Department of Literature and Cultural Studies.
