You are cordially invited to join the UNESCO Chair Conference on Sustainability, Technology and Education, taking place at the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) campus. Convened by President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, UNESCO Chair in Regional Education Development and Lifelong Learning, this international event aims to explore collaborations and partnerships to advance equitable and sustainable education across the region.

Under the theme ‘Building Empathetic and Sustainable Futures Through Digital Transformation, Intercultural Understanding, and Professional and Vocational Education’, the conference will bring together UNESCO Chairs from across ASEAN and Belt and Road countries, along with representatives from UNESCO regional offices and regional development agencies, to engage in critical dialogue on issues that lie at the intersection of sustainability, technological innovation, and education.

The conference will feature 2 keynote speeches, 4 regional research presentations, and 2 panel discussions. Speakers include Prof John Lee Chi-Kin from EdUHK, Prof Huang Ronghuai from Beijing Normal University, Prof Ochirbat Baatar from Mongolian University of Science and Technology, Prof Rupert Maclean from University of Tasmania, Prof Michael Phillips from University of Doha for Science and Technology and Dr Yang Congkun from Shenzhen Polytechnic University.
