MA(PFE) Alumni Development Forum 2026 - Reconnecting for a Personal Finance Future
The Master of Arts in Personal Finance Education Programme (MA(PFE)) hosted “Alumni Development Forum 2026” in Shenzhen on 23 May 2026. The forum, themed “Reconnecting for a Personal Finance Future”, brought alumni back together.
The forum focused on professional development in financial services and personal finance. MA(PFE) alumni shared their career pathways, discussed industry insights and professional growth.
Many alumni from MA(PFE) now work across a wide range of fields in personal finance or financial services, including banking, wealth management, financial advising, professional services, insurance, securities, and academic research.
The Forum supported open discussion, where alumni shared industry updates and practical experience. The Forum also strengthened alumni’s professional networks and enabled them to meet fellow practitioners. Some alumni delivered sharing sessions and shared lessons from their own careers.
Several MA(PFE) students also attended the event. They listened to their seniors and gained inspiration for career planning.
In the Forum, Dr Tan Weiqiang, Programme Leader of MA(PFE), thanked the alumni for their long-term support for the Programme. He also encouraged alumni and current students to move ahead with confidence.
Looking ahead, the MA(PFE) Programme will continue to build on alumni engagement and feedback, and to keep creating opportunities for exchange and nurturing a closer, warmer Personal Finance Community.
