A total of 50 EdUHK students participate in the Special School Placement Scheme 2023 (SSPS 2023). They have been assigned to one of our 24 partner special schools and will have a 3-week onsite placement at the designated school in May and June 2023. This valuable opportunity can broaden students’ horizons for special education, nurturing their personal growth and future career development.
The first briefing session of the Special School Placement Scheme 2023 (SSPS 2023) was held on 21st March 2023. Dr. Phil Liu, the Head of the Department of Special Education and Counselling, gave a welcome speech and greeted all the participants. Dr. Randolph Chan, the coordinator of the SSPS 2023, introduced the details of the scheme to the participants.
