Individual Work

Students may choose between literary and artistic modes of presentation. Participants are divided into five groups by school year (senior secondary, junior secondary, senior primary, junior primary and kindergarten).

The 100 shortlisted entries will be displayed on the website of Hong Kong Education City (www.hkedcity.net/sarslearning/) in early October for on-line voting and comments. The work with the highest on-line votes and the top five works from each of the five divisions selected by the adjudicators will receive awards.

Exhibition and Publication

All shortlisted entries of individual work and group projects will be displayed on the website of Hong Kong Education City and at the Hong Kong Museum of History (10 December 2003 to mid-January 2004). An anthology of outstanding works is also planned by the Institute.

The award presentation ceremony has been scheduled for 9 December 2003 at the Hong Kong Museum of History.

The 'Best Project' team (one teacher and four students) will be offered a free trip in early 2004 to visit the World Health Organisation in Geneva, Switzerland (for the senior secondary division) or health organisations in Japan (for junior secondary and senior primary divisions). A sharing session will be held upon the teams' return from the study trips.
