We are excited to announce that three Environmental  Protection Department’s smart recycling bins for collection of waste paper, metals, and other plastics (excluding plastic beverage bottles) have been set up at B2-G/F on our Tai Po Campus. These smart recycling bins are equipped with sensor monitoring which facilitates self-service recycling thought measuring and recording the weight of recyclables automatically. By using EPD’s GREEN$ mobile app upon recycling, users can also earn GREEN$ points for redemption of gift items at GREEN@COMMUNITY.

How to perform smart recycling:

1. Empty and rinse recyclables prior to recycling.
2. Activate smart recycling bins with GREEN$ membership QR code.

3. Drop recyclables into designated smart recycling bins.

大埔校園B2座地下位置已設置三個環保署智慧回收箱，以用作收集廢紙、金屬及其他塑膠（不包括塑膠飲料瓶）回收物。這套智慧回收箱配備了感應器監察回收箱的情況，可自動測量及記錄可回收物的重量，從而協助大家進行自助回收, 更可在回收時透過使用環保署的綠綠賞流動應用程式賺取綠綠賞積分, 積分可於「綠在區區」用作兌換禮品。

如何進行智慧回收：

1. 回收前清空並沖洗可回收物。
2. 使用綠綠賞會員二維碼啟動智慧回收箱。
