The Faculty of Education and Human Development(FHED) announced the result of the Dean’s Research Awards 2024/25. Dr Eva Lau Yi-hung at the Department of Early Childhood Education(ECE)won the Dean’s Research Award: Journal Articles.
Dr Eva Lau’s journal article aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Parent–child Brain Camp, a 4-week video-based executive functions (EFs) training program for children ages 5–6, through a randomised controlled trial with a pre- and post-test design with 173 Hong Kong children in 2022.
Each award winner will receive $50,000 to further their research, scholarship, and impact endeavours; finalists will receive a certificate.
