The Department of Early Childhood Education (ECE) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is promoting the Community Service Learning Scheme to strengthen collaboration with kindergartens, and expand students’ service and experiential learning opportunities. We warmly invite kindergartens to join us as partners in creating a meaningful platform for learning and service.
Key Features
· Authentic Learning Experience: Students apply early childhood education theories and teaching skills in classrooms and across various school activities, gaining diverse practical experience.
· Holistic Development: Service participation fosters responsibility and a spirit of service, while enhancing communication skills and teamwork, and supporting the achievement of Generic Intended Learning Outcomes (GILOs).
· Serving the Community: Students contribute through volunteer service, supporting kindergartens and families, and fostering a culture of care and inclusion.

· Build close collaboration with EdUHK to nurture future early childhood professionals and contribute to society
· Jointly uphold care and social responsibility, strengthening positive connections between education and the community
