The Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD) at EdUHK announced the recipients of the newly launched FEHD Excellence Award for Global Engagement and Mobility (GEM Award) for the academic year 2024/25 on October 16, 2025. This prestigious award recognises faculty members who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in promoting the internationalisation and global outreach of the faculty through impactful initiatives.
We are proud to highlight the achievements of our colleagues in the Department of Early Childhood Education. Congratulations to Dr Catalina Ng Sau-man, Assistant Head (Teaching), for being awarded the GEM Award. Additionally, our Internationalisation Team—comprising Prof Alfredo Bautista, Mr Eric Cheng Yu-lung, Ms Sofie Chua Shuyi, and Ms Yana Cheng Ting-yan—received a certificate of merit in recognition of their exceptional internationalisation and outreach efforts.
The award recipients were formally recognised at the FEHD 1st Faculty Forum of this academic year held on November 3, 2025, alongside other distinguished award winners.
