About CTE2020

International Conference on Computational Thinking Education 2020 (CTE2020) is the 4th international conference organized by CoolThink@JC. The conference will be held on 7-9 May 2020 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, one of the largest conference venues in Hong Kong. CTE2020 will be the most remarkable event of the Programme for worldwide sharing of ideas as well as dissemination of findings and outcomes on the implementation of computational thinking development. The conference will comprise keynote speeches, invited speeches, panel discussions, workshops and paper presentations. All accepted papers will be published in ISBN-coded proceedings. The conference will be held along with a Coding Fair to outreach to parents and students. The 4-day fair includes coding workshops, parent seminars, exhibition booths and various attraction with coding elements.

About CoolThink@JC

CoolThink@JC is created and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, and co-created by The Education University of Hong Kong, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and City University of Hong Kong. CoolThink@JC strives to inspire students to apply digital creativity in their daily lives and prepare them to tackle future challenges in any fields. Through computational thinking education, the Programme aspires to empower students to move beyond mere technology consumption and into problem-solving, creation and innovation. As of 2019, with the professional teacher development and evidence-based curriculum, the Programme benefits over 100 teachers and close to 18,500 upper primary students in 32 pilot schools.
