Dr. Shen Na (Nell) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Policy Studies at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Previously, she held Associate Professor positions at the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi), where she taught in the MBA (Digital Transformation) program, and at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Additionally, she was a visiting scholar at the Australian Centre for Asian Business, University of South Australia, under the Endeavour Research Fellowship.
Dr. Shen earned her Ph.D. in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research interests focus on family firms, corporate finance, CSR, and emerging financial trends such as crowdfunding. She maintains a strong publication record, with articles featured in top-tier peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Asia Pacific Journal of Management.
Beyond her academic work, Dr. Shen possesses extensive industry and consulting experience and maintains strong ties with the business community. She currently serves as an advisor to the GBA Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Foundation and as a council member of the Hong Kong Association of Overseas-Returned Scholars (HKAORS). An active mentor and judge for numerous territory-wide competitions, she recently guided her team to victory as the Champion in the "Gateway to Tomorrow – Business Case Competition 2025."
