Dana holds MSc in Higher Education Leadership from Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan). Within her master's program Dana has developed research interest in internationalization and governance of higher education. In her current research project, Dana further explores internationalization of higher education, drawing on the example of Kazakhstan and Chinese university partnerships, and Kazakhstan students' academic experiences in Chinese universities.
