Dr Anna Kam and Ms Karen Yu completed a one-week staff mobility programme at the Thomas More Mechelen-Antwerpen on 14th – 18th October 2019. They delivered lectures to students studying Speech therapy and Audiology; visited a school for special education and a multidisciplinary clinic. They also joined some research meetings, event organized by the international office of Erasmus+ and explored future academic collaboration.
In the meanwhile, there are three Hong Kong students of the MScESLPLD programme attending an international programme for Speech therapy offered by Thomas More in Antwerp. The programme lasts for three months from September till December this year.
Thomas More is the largest university of applied sciences in Flanders, offering more than 30 Dutch-taught and a range of English-taught bachelor degree programmes in the province of Antwerp. The Education University of Hong Kong has signed an agreement with Thomas More for academic exchange, and the current round of exchange is supported by the Erasmus+ program.
