We were honored to welcome Professor Zachary Walker, Head of the Department of Psychology and Human Development (PHD) at the University College London Institute of Education (IOE), for an impactful and extensive seminar on “Re-thinking Inclusive Education: An International Survey of Inclusive, High-Leverage and Culturally Responsive Practices.”
During the seminar, Professor Walker shared the findings from ongoing research across six countries on how the results may be used to impact policy, teacher preparation, and school leadership to foster inclusive education. He emphasized the critical need to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion within educational systems. He also provided some valuable strategies that can help individuals navigate various situations in personal development, collaboration, and people-centered approaches within research, management, and inclusive education practices, which attract a diverse audience to enhance their understanding of inclusive, high-leverage, and culturally responsive educational practices.
We are grateful for Professor Zachary Walker’s expertise and insights, and we look forward to more opportunities to exchange ideas with him in the future. We also kindly ask everyone to continue supporting other activities of SEC Department.
